Dear Felix,

MACS INHACA RACE 2004

On behalf of the Zululand Yacht Club and all the competing yachts folk we would like to thank you for you generous sponsorship

of R 15 000.00 for the MACS Inhaca 2004 race.

From the race committee side we have attempted to go the extra mile to get as many yachts in the race as possible and

to make sure that the MACS name has been exposed to all that have received our race correspondence.

We have 22 boats entered into the race with approximately 130 skippers and crews partaking.

We have had exposure in our local press and the Mercury paper from Durban will run an article this week and

both have been headed up with the MACS name.

Today there are a lot more folk that know that there is a shipping line called MACS Shipping and

we hope that we have met your requirements with attempting to get exposure for the MACS shipping company in our small way

by promoting the MACS Inhaca Race 2004.

We have had a call from some of the Cape Town yachtsman who has seen the race advertised and

have asked if next year we can arrange shipping for the yachts to Durban or Richards Bay. Something to work on for next year’s race.

The yachts are all starting to leave to head up to Inhaca for a week on fishing, fun and chilling out before 10h00 on the 9 April 2004

when the start of the 14^th MACS Inhaca Race will commence.
