AND CATAMARAN SAILING
The following are the minimum requirements for sailing in the Richards Bay Port,
as per SAS information, and sailors must comply with these regulations:
Catamarans:

Craft must be registered
·
2 Liters of water per boat
·
Righting lines of at least 5m and 8mm diam
·
1 Paddle per boat
·
1 set of pencil flares per person, carried on
the person
·
1 knife
Dinghies:
·
Craft must be registered
·
Buoyancy aids to be worn at all times
·
10 m towing line
·
750 mm water
·
pencil flare kit or waterproof cell phone kit
